SACRAMENTO, Calif., November 17, 2008– Trainor Fairbrook is pleased to announce the recent addition of business law and real estate attorneys Patricia J. Hartman, Maureen A. Lenihan and Ranbir S. Ahdan, formerly of Hunter Richey & Eisenbeis, LLP. The addition of these attorneys enhances Trainor Fairbrook’s position as one of the preeminent commercial real estate and business law firms in the Sacramento region. Ms. Hartman joins the firm as a shareholder in the Transactional Department. She is a highly respected commercial real estate and business law attorney with over 25 years of experience. Ms. Hartman represents clients from a variety of different industries including healthcare, accounting, architecture, agriculture, consulting and engineering, with real estate, general business and commercial law matters. Her general business and commercial law expertise includes business entity formations, dissolutions and compliance matters; mergers and acquisitions; financings, loan modifications and workouts; extensive contract negotiating and drafting; securities matters; general business and corporate planning; and counseling. In the real estate arena, Patricia has represented developers, investors, lenders, owners, landlords and tenants. She has extensive experience in the negotiation and documentation of real estate sales, purchases and exchanges; commercial and ground leases; mortgage and trust deed workouts; syndications; and joint ventures. Ms. Hartman earned her law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and her Master of Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento. She also earned her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees from the California State University, Sacramento. In addition, she has achieved a “preeminent” rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
Maureen Lenihan joins the firm as an attorney in the Litigation Department. Ms. Lenihan has been practicing employment law and general business litigation in the greater Sacramento region since 1983. Maureen’s practice focuses on litigation with an emphasis in labor and employment law, business and professional malpractice. She specializes in representing management in employment matters before state and federal courts. Ms. Lenihan routinely counsels employers regarding alleged harassment in the work place, employee rights of privacy, wage and hour practice, discipline and dismissal, accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act and numerous other employment-related issues. Maureen also represents business owners in litigation matters involving business disputes, lease obligations, business torts and other issues related to the business entity. Ms. Lenihan earned her law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, her Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science from California State University, Sacramento.
Ranbir Ahdan is an associate attorney in the Transactional Department with his primary areas of practice in commercial real estate and business law. Mr. Ahdan’s real estate practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions, including leases, purchase and sale agreements and easements, as well as title disputes. His business law practice focuses on the formation, operation and dissolution of businesses, including corporate governance matters, stock issues, general business planning and negotiating and drafting agreements. Rabir earned his law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law with a Certificate in International Legal Studies and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Davis.
