Nancy Hotchkiss is a shareholder in the Property Management and Bankruptcy Section of Trainor Fairbrook. Her primary area of practice is litigation involving the enforcement of commercial leases and creditors’ rights.
Ms. Hotchkiss handles all aspects of loan enforcement matters, including both foreclosure proceedings and receivership actions, and she carefully and aggressively safeguards and pursued the rights of the lender in those proceedings. She also handles lease enforcement litigation for landlords on all issues concerning the management of commercial properties, and her clients include large and small property owners and managers throughout California.
Ms. Hotchkiss was the first Sacramento area attorney to obtain national board certification in business bankruptcy law by the American Bankruptcy Board of Certification, and has been honored by the independent publication Northern California Super Lawyers Magazine for the last five consecutive years.
She is a frequent speaker for various professional groups and is a current member of the State Board of Directors for the California Receivers Forum. She has also served as president of the Barrister’s Club of Sacramento, president of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Sacramento, and vice president of the Real Estate Section of the Sacramento County Bar Association.
