John Fairbrook has been named as Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year” for 2016 in the area of Real Estate Litigation.
Less than one percent of the attorneys in the United States are selected to membership in The Best Lawyers in America®, and, out of those lawyers, only one lawyer in each region’s practice area is honored as a Lawyer of the Year. John is one of our firm’s three Best Lawyers, including Chuck Trainor and Kathleen Finnerty, who have also been repeatedly honored as Best Lawyers. Mr. Trainor was Lawyer of the Year in the area of Real Estate Transactions in 2011.
As Chair of Trainor Fairbrook’s Litigation Group, Mr. Fairbrook’s practice focuses on litigating disputes related to commercial real estate, real estate development, leasing, partnerships and related business. He is a veteran trial lawyer who has tried dozens of jury and bench trials to successful conclusions for over 30 years. His clients include a broad range of real estate related companies and individuals, including some of the most prominent developers in Northern California.
John has been rated as an “AV Preeminent” lawyer by the Martindale-Hubbell Legal Directory each year for the past 17 years. He also has been repeatedly selected as a Northern California Super Lawyer. His fellow trial lawyers have elected him as an honored member of the Anthony M. Kennedy American Inn of Court, and into the American Board of Trial Advocates.
