Nancy Hotchkiss Named President of California Receivers Forum

Trainor Fairbrook is pleased to announce that one of our shareholders, Nancy Hotchkiss, has been elected President of the California Receivers Forum for 2012. The Forum is the premier statewide organization for receivership professionals, concentrating on cutting-edge issues affecting receivers and properties in receivership.

A member of the Forum since 1998, Ms. Hotchkiss was elected to its Board of Directors in 2007 and has served as Projects Director, Secretary, Treasurer and most recently as President Elect. As President, Ms. Hotchkiss will lead the organization in the coming year, and facilitate communication between the receivership community and the courts. One of her goals is also to raise the level of professionalism through seminars and educational programs.

Nancy joined Trainor Fairbrook in 1981, shortly after the firm was formed. Nancy was the first Sacramento area attorney to obtain national board certification in business bankruptcy law by the American Bankruptcy Board of Certification. Her law practice focuses on all aspects of loan enforcement matters, including bankruptcy and foreclosure proceedings, and related receivership actions. She also handles lease enforcement litigation for landlords on all issues concerning the management of commercial properties. Her clients include property owners and managers throughout California. Ms. Hotchkiss is an AV® Preeminent™ rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell and has been honored by the independent publication Northern California Super Lawyers Magazine since 2005.
