Current Opportunities
This position works with shareholders on significant and complex commercial real estate and business transactions throughout California.
General responsibilities include representation of clients in commercial real estate matters related to the acquisition, ownership and disposition of real property, including purchase and sale transactions, development, financing, leasing, title matters, easements and CC&Rs. Significant experience in drafting purchase and sale agreements required.
This position works with our litigation departments on construction, business and commercial real estate matters throughout California.
General responsibilities include representation of clients in construction and real property litigation as well as business disputes. Typical casework will include supporting clients with construction defect issues, mechanic’s liens and lease disputes. Experience with construction contracts and/or the fundamentals of construction preferred.
This position will work with several shareholders in our transactional and litigation departments and must be able to handle a wide range of general business matters.
General Responsibilities include assisting clients with formation and governance of business entities. Typical transactions include those related to ownership and operation: business formation, buy/sell agreements, joint ventures and custom contracts. Working with our real estate group this position may also support transactions relating to purchases and sales, varying phases of real estate investment, financing (including workouts and restructurings) and development.
This position will initially support one heavy litigation partner and provide back up for vacation coverage throughout the office. Must be knowledgeable on civil procedure with extensive state court experience. Compulaw/docketing experience strongly preferred.
Sample responsibilities include: filling legal documents with state courts, formatting legal briefs, pleadings, correspondence and other legal documents, dictation transcription, scanning, copying, e-filing and calendar management.
