On behalf of Trainor Fairbrook, we hope you, your family and loved ones are healthy and safe in light of the COVID-19 outbreak. It is a scary time for all of us as we confront these unknown business and personal challenges.
For our real estate and construction clients, we know this will be a time of turmoil as the businesses you deal with struggle through this crisis. For our estate planning clients, we have already heard from many of you in the last five days about creating or modifying your estate plans. Our estate planning lawyers remain here to assist you. At this moment, we have attorneys scouring the federal and state regulations to learn of everything currently available on filing claims with the government for business losses resulting from COVID-19. As information in that regard becomes available, we will make it known to you.
We also wanted to share with you the actions we are taking to protect the health and well-being of our employees, clients, and colleagues. To protect our staff and visitors, the firm has limited travel, and implemented increased cleaning and sanitizing procedures and policies. We are following the guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other state and local authorities, and have cancelled all firm-sponsored in-person events scheduled for the foreseeable future. We are cleaning every conference room with disinfectant after each meeting. We are cleaning all of the areas which visitors may come in contact with, such as lobby counters and door handles multiple times per day. Further, in compliance with the CDC’s social distancing recommendations, and as part of our commitment to maintaining the highest level of service throughout this unprecedented time, we are facilitating telecommuting when appropriate in a secure environment to protect your sensitive information. All of our attorneys have work-from-home capability, if necessary.
